I have always been pleased with the friendliness and service @ the Westmont Acme, although the prices are higher than @ some of the other food markets.

ReplyDeleteI shop in the Bala Cynwyd, PA store. All of the employees are very nice, but John is an exceptional cashier, bagger, etc. He is very kind, packs all bags, and does it extremely well. He even arranges them in my cart so they all fit. He always asks if any of the bags are too heavy for me. He makes shopping a pleasant experience. I always look for him

I stop shopping in acme for almost 2 or 3 years because of the bad service and attitude of the people that work in the store. Two weeks ago I stop in newark subarban plaza acme #07806 and I was very surprice that for the first time an acme associate say hello to me when I enter the store, I said to my self oh somebody's happy but it did continue the other associate say hi to me. And when I asked a question the person answer me with the smile...Oh....my I said to myself maybe they have a new manager.... SO I came back thenext week and I got lucky again the people are happy and willing to help me....I think I will go back and shop more in ACME SUBURBAN PLAZA....
ReplyDeleteI shop at the Acme in Folsom, Pa. I am very happy with all the salespeople. My only comment is this week you have Breyers Ice Cream 2 half gallons for $6.00 -- Pathmark, which is only about l block away has Breyers for 2 half gallons for $5.00 and so does Shop Rite 1/2 mile away. I think that is a very bad thing and many of my friends will not shop at Acme Mkts. because your prices are higher compared to others.

ReplyDeleteI am a new Acme Shopper and my local Acme in Seaville, New Jersey is so nice. They made my transition to this store very easy. The Customer Service they I experienced was wonderful. I had a return and Danielle helped me with an easy exchange. Then I was walked down the aisle (because I am still trying to figure out where things our) By another associate (I believe her name was Kari) Overall, it will continue to be the store that I will shop at from now on.

Shopping at Acme is fast and easy. The people know me and I know them and they are helpful and friendly. I don't like the BIG, new competitor up the road. I will continue to shop at my Acme.

Manager Greg Krauss and his excellent staff are the best.
Much of the staff and I are on a 1st name basis.
Staff is very helpful.

ReplyDeleteI've been shopping at the Acme Lantana Square in Hockessin for 14 years, several times a week. Everyone who works there is very friendly and they go out of their way to be helpful and service oriented. John Donahue and the other managers are terrific, and they are always consistent. Makes it nice to shop there!

of soup noodles and put them in one bag and the bag broke. I now triple bag everything I buy and that is not saving the store any money, especially when right up the road their is a Giant opening up.

They make feel very welcome as a customer always polite,professional,an i might ad hospitable.acme is a very good place to shop.Now the only complaint that i have is that are not enough sales. She is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of customer service, but more than that, she is very caring and goes out of her way to help everyone! She is the perfect candidate to run the store. Please promote from within and give this girl a managerial position! Most of your associates are great. She stands out.

I shop at the Fox Run Acme in Bear, DE and prior to this year, shopped at the Trolley Square Acme for approx. 7 years....and although they both have been the closest to me...in terms of location....I would drive out of my way to go to one of the others if I wasn't so happy with Acme.
ReplyDeleteTheir prices are a bit higher than most of the others but the stores are so clean and the meat and produce so fresh...that it's totally worth the little extra it costs. And they have great sale items that have great prices.
The employees are wonderful.....and I have only ONE small complaint about the Fox Run Acme (and this also happened several times at the Trolley Square Acme) and that is that when they run/ran out of hazelnut whole coffee beans that you can grind yourself there (which is what I prefer)....it takes them quite some time to refill....and I've driven all the way to the Univ. Plaza location just to get those beans. The reason I don't drive to another store that might be closer is that I love the Acme brand of whole beans (Java Delight) better than the other stores and not all the others have the coffee grinders available right there.
But overall, I love Acme the best and it's been my preference for years......I just wish they would restock those hazelnut coffee beans a little faster.
Acme has things that Shoprite doesn't.
ReplyDeleteI was recently at the Randolph Acme and was assisted by your sales associate Sara Reynolds. Sara went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. I have seen Sara working over the years and noted her pride in her work and in the Randolph Acme. Management should take note, as an employee like Sara comes around only once in a blue moon.

Hi there. I have been shopping at the ACME branch in Jenkintown for over 15 years and I love the service and food quality. The prices are higher than other supermarkets but the quality of the food is much better. ACME does have a lot of discounts and you can save if you purchase items on sale. Jenkintown location is always very nice and pleasant. The manager always makes sure that the lines are never too long and if they are he always makes another line available immediately. I will always shop at this ACME store.

The Runnemede, N.J. store #7998 is just so poor.The employees there are apparently still under the influence that there job will be there no matter how they treat customers.We went into the store and need help and found one of there employees stocking in the Frozen Food section,We asked them where something was and could they help us,the response we got from him was yeahhhhh we have it,I then had to ask him again if he could show us where it was,he threw his box down and said over here,it was like pulling teeth getting help from him.Then we went through the checkout where employee Jim a tall guy was working.he was horrible he was talking to another employee who was standing there next to the counter and he acted like we were not even there,his conversation was apparently more important than our value as a customer.Management in this store should go through and clean house and make it clear to all there employees that if they dont want to treat the customers right then they should go work somewhere else.
